Aishwarya Rai (Bachchan) is all set to star in maverick director Mani Ratnam's new mega movie, 'Raavan' - we will bring you every single minuscule update regarding this Bollywood movie.

Aishwarya Rai, after starring opposite southern superstar Rajnikanth in the ultra budget movie 'Robot', has reached another milestone. She is reportedly learning classical singing to prepare for her role as Sita in the film 'Raavan'.

As you guesses it, the film is a contemporary take on 'Ramayana'. Aishwarya Rai will sing all the songs of the movie herself, something very new for Bollywood actresses.

Aishwarya is reportedly a very good singer in real life, but doesn't have the composure to sing on screen. So she will take lessons from a guru before she stars filming for Raavan in October.

If you're an avid Bollywood film buff this brainwave would already have flickered in your mind - Aishwarya Rai's mother in law Jaya Bachchan had played the role of a classical singer in Hrishikeh Mukerji's 'Abhiman'.
