Shahrukh Khan to romance Anushka Sharma

Aditya Chopra went on a national hunt to find a young girl who could play a bubbly Punjabi girl in his movie Rab Ne Banadi Jodi. Finally it was Anushka Sharma who was selected to star opposite Shahrukh Khan. Anushka is a banglore based model, who has modeled for many high profile brands including Silk & Shine, Whisper and Fiat Palio.

Do you guys know something? This girl Anushka is not even half the age of Shahrukh Khan. SRK is definitely one lucky guy!

Anushka Sharma and Shahid Kapoor will form a cute and innocent pair. And the fans of ‘Rab Ne…’ girl and industry’s favourite chocolate boy will soon get to see the adorable duo together in an upcoming Yash Raj venture soon.

Anushka, the one-movie sensation, has signed an exclusive contract with Yash Raj and this will be her second release. This will also be Shahid's second film with the YRF banner, the first being ‘Hadippa’ opposite Yash Raj damsel Rani Mukherji.

A source from the industry reveals, "The untitled film will be directed by actor Parmeet Sethi, and he has also penned the script, which has impressed Aditya Chopra immensely."
