It doesn’t happen every day that a simple village belle challenges a mighty queen. But that’s what seems to be happening at the V Shantaram awards, the nominations for which were out recently. That both Amrita and Ash are fellow Mangaloreans. But the two professionals certainly aren’t going to let this South connection stop them from giving each other some tough competition, right?
