Hundreds of people were killed and injured in the November 2008 attacks in Mumbai leaving people disheartened with the way their country was being run. Dressed in a plain white shirt and jeans, Diya Mirza, the Indian model, actress, and former Miss Asia Pacific joined hundreds in a peaceful protest in Mumbai near the Taj Hotel where the terrorist attacks took place at the end of last month. Mirza along with other celebrities including Neha Dhupia also lent their support by marching through the city, bearing signs and flags urging people to come together and rally against the country's politicians.
